News from the desert Southwest

Geez, it seems like forever since I've made a blog post. And it has been. I've been acclimating to the desert and getting my bearings in the community of Bisbee AZ. There are many activities and fun things for all ages. One of my favorites is going to the high school baseball and football games at the local Warren Ballpark. Check out the link!

Local hikes are wonderful desert experiences. Packing lots of water is the priority. There's a long stretch between fully hydrated and being dehydrated. Packing enough water for staying at least mostly hydrated is the priority. Skirting the bottom of the barrel can lead to minor discomfort, or further, dizziness and disorientation. Getting lost is fairly easy when the trails are not maintained very well, and failing to make good decisions while on the trail can be tragic. There's a local search and rescue team that stays very busy.

Well...I'll post some pics of the new motorcycle the next time round. But this is a start, eh?
